I hear that deserts get really cold at night because there's nothing to keep the heat from going off into the ozone layer. Also, the arctic circle could be considered a desert because it rarely precipitates, but there's no sand there, which makes it not as funny.

I am suddenly picturing Ed and Al being forced to sleep in the tundra, and when they wake up, they're stuck to the ice. XD
